Today the final episode of Tokyo Manji Kai revengers Tenjiuku Hen has aired and we are all at a loss. What will we do for the next few periods of our lives where there is no Peak revengers news?

Preliminary (5/13 eps)

Show does a really good job building off the previous arc. The new season explores deeper to each characters’ motivations and their relations to one another. Characters are motivated by loyalty and ties to certain people beget different outcomes. Compared to the first season, it’s closing in on a looming melancholous feel
A show that does a interesting job displaying the irrational whims, conflicting interests, regrets, pettiness, and the unrealized possibilities of relationships amongst eboy squads

Though it’s a time travel anime, it’s not so much about the technicalities and physics of time travel, but rather using time travel to realize who and what you ...

Preliminary (11/13 eps)

This show has become a problem that many writers face when they create a world that they want to be deep but find themselves drowning in it. There are too many characters and ALL OF THEM for some reason need 8 trillion hours of back story, so the actual show never fucking goes anywhere. You can take all of this season and compile it into 30 minutes if you cut all the bullshit flashbacks, still shots, and all the other crap. I'm more than pissed off; this is a disgrace to anime; no, to storytelling in general.

audio? reptetive and even at that nothing great
art/animation? ...

As someone who’s been extremely critical of Tokyo Revengers in the past, I have to give credit where it’s due. This was the best season of the show by a very wide margin. Compelling story, cool villain, stakes, emotional moments and some surprisingly cool moments from the MC made it a very fun watch.

While Tokyo Revengers still isn’t a paradigm of great writing, the author managed to get the storybeats write for this Tenjiku arc. Coming in to this season I’d heard much praise about this being the best arc and I was skeptical, but fans ended up being right here. This was an enjoyable ...

Good morning, this is my personall review of Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen
Plot: 7
I read the manga and Tenjiku's arc has always been my favourite
Graphic: 4
The graphic became really bad during this season, it's almost comparable to nnt season 3
Music: 6
The opening remained the same, the ending is okay and the soundtrack are good as the same
Characters: 8
Takemichi is such a badass in this season, I enjoyed Izana, Mikey and Kisaki as well

This season was in my opinion the best of the three, it finally gave us this satisfaction of an ending with a possibility of a return. Great fights all around in my opinion and a few WTF moments that had me very exited. Talking about angry the dark horse. Very interesting stuff.

I love the character design unfortunately you know important characters appart nearly instantly, I would of loved it if there were more normal looking dudes but it wasn't that important to me.

Was very close to a 9/10 but I think kisakis reason for doing what he did was trash, a better excuse ...

HOLY CHOCOLATE THIS SEASON IS LOVE!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES AND SEASON!

So exciting!! So much PLOTS TWISTS !! Did not expect that at all!! BUT.... !

It was a great follower from season 2, where they explained more questions which was being asked during season 2. Alot of twist and turns in the story, which is fantastic, i love it. An ending which is WOW, BUT WAIT !! is it really the end now ??? The end season was questionable if there will be a season 4 ! I mean, if they decide to end it at season 3, it would be a decent ...

Mixed Feelings

I have so many mixed feelings with this anime. On the one hand, it was plucky and interesting with a twist I never expected. On the other hand, it was the most frustrating anime I have ever watched. I can't tell if that was a stroke of genius or just unending annoyance.

The characters were decent, but the main character was hard for me to connect with and seemed to have no redeeming qualities outside of his tenacity. I found most of the other characters more interesting.

The plot was well paced yet I found myself enjoying the earlier arcs more than this past one, ...

This season lifted up muy enjoyment of the show quite a lot after a quite bland second season. The problems of the show are still there, the main character is still the worst character ever, for no reason everyone else takes him seriously for no apparent reason, and the main villain is smarter than everyone else. But the new characters and some of the events happening here are quite interesting.

Lets say that this season is more similar to the first one than to the seconds one. Still a lot of nonsense, but it’s entertaining and the characters are somehow interesting to watch.

The ending ...

Review will contain major spoilers but in a separate tag. I intend to make this review readable to those that are not caught up with the season. Thus I am unmarking the spoiler warning.
1) Story
The story was not great but it was not bad either. However it was close to bad. In terms of plot points, the story was good. If you consider the major points, there were times when some unexpected things happened. However, the transition from one point to another was not that enjoyable. Partially because the season seemed stretched with too much repetition and back stories. If instead of making this a ...

By far better than previous seasons, Takemichi finally feels like a protagonist worth rooting for. It still has its flaws and feels repetitive at times, but the story and Takemichi tenacity really made it worth it. The animation isn’tas flashy but does the job. Character motivations feel in line but some points did make me feel like a few more episodes wouldn’t have made some decisions feel spontaneous. All of this is held together with a good story. Also the new characters introduced here are great! If you didn’t like this show before, you might still not but if you were on the fence ...

The first two Seasons were great. I also read the whole Manga, but I won't spoiler anything.
As I said, Season one and two were really fantastic. The Story is really good, the characters are really well written
But the Animation is just not really great. Tenjiku Arc is one of my favourites, so it's sad to see that they didn't Animate it very well.

During the fights, every two minutes you can see some useless reactions from Characters.
Someone does something good or bad -> every character (that is important) gets a reaction and they make weird noises. After a while it's really annoying and ...

Tokyo Revengers is one of my favourite series, I've already completed the manga and even though it's not the best, it has a pretty nice and exciting story with enjoyable characters.
Here we're talking about the anime adaptation though, and compared to the manga unfortunately, LidensFilm didn't make a good job, but not only in this season, in the previous ones too...

The biggest problem is probably the animation, sometimes it's good while others is really terrible.
The movement, the fight animations, the most important part when it comes to this type of anime, are pretty bad, I don't know if it's a budget problem or if it's ...

Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen

With the second and currently final season of Tokyo Revengers, the anime continued its mental torture. Although the main character Takimichi has become more bearable and had a cool moment for the first time in the entire series, it hasn't helped the series any further.

Once again, Tokyo Revengers doesn't know what it's supposed to be, it tries everything possible to somehow seem ‘good’. You can accept time travel and all that nonsense. But when the anime suddenly turned into a shounen where people had superpowers and could move at the speed of sound, my brain cells were gone. Everything the author tried to ...

The first part of the season atleast to me felt like a drag. It felt like the same things repeated and felt like a small repeat of plot, like from back in season 1 and the whole valhalla and toman conflict just bigger. i DO THINK however that nearing its end it ended up picking back up and actually surpassed the other seasons by a margin. A lot more expansion of the story and the world and the lore, and it was nice to see other characters be involved and be a part of things than just mikey and draken. The animation also picked up, ...

Although I still like Tokyo Revengers, I do feel that the desire I have to see it is spreading more and more and I simply wait for it to arrive and I'll see it.

This has meant that events that occur in season 1 or even some of season 2 have been forgotten in a certain part. That, obviously, is not the fault of the anime, which has had a decent publication, but mine.

In any case... season 3 of TR is more of what we've already seen, drama between gangs, with Takemichi as the focal point of the plot. Mikey, for his part, also has his ...

Tokyo Revenger started very well. That's for sure. Then... well it did what shoudn't be done which is getting you sticked to the show, hopping for a happy end, while kicking you in the face. come on I'm sick of this type of story which bring on watcher a lot of despair just to have a huge climax at the end. This is emotional elevator in the bad way and I honestly think there are better ways to reach that climaxes than killing the character they made us like.
Finished 5th episode so you'll know why I'm angry.
Still don't know if I'll continue watching

I usually don't give reviews out to series I have already reviewed earlier, especially since my opinion hasn't changed too much. But, for this anime, I certainly think it's time to make an overall impression.

I'd say that the anime starts out relatively strong with season 1. Even then, the time travel mechanic was super suspect. It's never abused the way it should be by people that have any actual semblance of a brain, and things that should have been caught onto with time traveling to the future does not get explained until the event happens in the present.

However, and I said this in season ...

It is a typical tokyo revenger, nothing else.

In this 3rd season : Story is getting forward with some plot holes but the main plot : how protagonist will win/lose or get close to win/lose and through what? is presented in this season

Presentation :
Animation is okay
Storytelling is okay but feels good because Now we can connect present events of season 3 to season 1 & 2
Audio is good because everytime it works as Opening song and Ending song

overall season 3 have same flaws which season 1 and season 2 have : ok animation, flash backs, no editing in story to make it small,
