According to insiders, NeNe, who left "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" after its twelfth season in 2020, will not be a permanent member of the cast for this series. Instead, she will play a significant role during the Atlanta segment of the trip, bringing her unique flair and charisma back to the screen. The show is expected to feature various familiar faces from different "Housewives" franchises, with each city showcasing different women in diverse roles throughout their travels.
This new endeavor is part of the ongoing evolution of the "Ultimate Girls Trip" concept, which follows beloved Housewives as they explore some of the most iconic destinations related to the franchise, all while celebrating two decades of the series' success.
NeNe's return is particularly noteworthy given her past legal issues with Bravo. In April 2022, she filed a federal lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and the production companies, claiming a hostile and racially discriminatory work environment. However, that lawsuit was resolved in August 2022 when both parties opted for arbitration instead of pursuing the case further.
